In an exciting turn of events, three groundbreaking companies—Augmodo, GreenChoice and Grocery Shopii—have emerged as the finalists of the highly coveted FMI TechPitch Contest. These trailblazers are gearing up to showcase their innovations at the FMItech Pitch Competition during the FMI Midwinter Executive Conference on Friday, January 19, 2024, from 2:20 to 3:05 pm in the prestigious Banyan Ballroom (L-1). The winner will present at the final Midwinter keynote.

FMItech Pitch Judges: A Panel of Industry Titans

Before making it to the finals, these companies faced stiff competition from a pool of more than 30 applicants. The judging panel comprised luminaries in the tech and retail sectors:

Augmodo: Revolutionizing In-store E-Commerce with Wearable Cameras

Augmodo is building an Augmented Workforce using AI and wearable cameras to improve e-commerce inventory and picking. Their solution uses Associate Dashcams to build an almost real time Realogram of shelves to detect out of stocks, improve picker product search and improve compliance, all while being 100% passive as associates do their normal work — no training or operational changes.

GreenChoice: Personalized Healthy Shopping in 30 Days

GreenChoice is another finalist with a mission to provide regional and independent grocers with an affordable solution for offering personalized and healthy shopping experiences. In just 30 days, without the need for engineers or data scientists, GreenChoice enhances the customer experience, captures valuable data and drives lifetime customer value for grocers.

Grocery Shopii: Transforming Recipes into Revenue

Grocery Shopii, a retail media technology company, has earned its place as a finalist by connecting brands and retailers with shoppable recipe solutions. Their award-winning meal planning platform serves as a launchpad for retail media, featuring sponsored recipes that can be seamlessly integrated into various channels such as Facebook, email, digital and print circulars, and in-store displays. By leveraging the power of recipes, Grocery Shopii aims to turn inspiration into revenue for both retailers and brands.
