FMItech Program

FMItech at Midwinter promotes conversations, explorations and private exchanges to enhance your technology strategy.

We bring together FMI Midwinter attendees focused on technology, e-commerce and automation strategies to create actionable next steps.

Tech Exchanges

Schedule direct meetings with technology partners to explore how you can best enhance your technology strategy. An excellent approach to meeting a wide variety of partners very efficiently.

Tech Talks

Six bite-size presentations hosted by technology companies addressing core central themes such as digital/e-commerce, automation, customer engagement, and optimization from unique vantage points.

All registered FMI Midwinter attendees are welcome to watch Tech Talks.

Tech Sessions

Our tech-focused education sessions will keep you in the know, shed light on upcoming trends and prepare you for the future in tech, as it pertains to the food industry.

How Tech Exchanges Work

Participants are expected to be senior-level decision-makers whenever possible.

  • 25-minute meetings are pre-arranged over the Midwinter dates.
  • 18 possible individual appointments over three days.
  • Meetings can be held between the table occupant and technology service providers.
  • Each company is responsible for securing its appointments and setting each meeting agenda using the FMI Scheduler.
  • FMI will facilitate the scheduling process but cannot guarantee confirmed appointments.
  • Retailers and wholesalers will host tables in the FMItech lounge.

Retailers, Wholesalers and Product Suppliers

Host meeting tables in the FMItech lounge, enabling business discussions with technology service providers. Retailer, wholesaler and product supplier participation is complimentary with Midwinter registration.

Technology Service Providers

Complete commitment form, and once verified you'll gain access to the FMItech scheduler to make up to 18 appointments.

You may also apply for one Tech Talk, an idea-sharing roundtable on your tech topic of choice.

  • Non-commercial idea sharing, only.
  • Tech Talk proposals are reviewed and limited, we recommend you submit commitments early.
