We look forward to seeing everyone on Marco Island! All Midwinter guests will have additional, on-site options to find and connect with fellow attendees.
We encourage you to register early to secure hotel accommodations, as we expect hotels to sell out fast. Official event hotel rooms are in high demand and only available to registered and paid attendees. Hotel reservations can only be made using official hotel links and FMI does not use third-party companies to make said reservations or sell rooms.
Once registered, you’ll receive an email confirmation with hotel reservation instructions with additional details on making changes or cancellations. A cancelled Midwinter registration forfeits your hotel reservation. If you did not receive your confirmation email, please check your spam folder or email us at register@fmi.org.

We limit one complimentary pass for every 10,000 circulations/subscribers your food retailing publication has on your BPA statement (up to 30,000 in circulation). Additional personnel requesting to attend must pay a Midwinter registration fee.
Sales, advertising, marketing, public relations, account management, or other non-editorial professions will not be granted press passes.
Video/audio recording of any kind is prohibited onsite without permission from the FMI media department. FMI reserves the right to request documentation regarding credentials.
The FMI Midwinter Executive Conference is invitation-only. Accredited media writing for food retail industry trade journals, magazines or newspapers are eligible to receive a complimentary press pass. To qualify, you must cover the event and hold an editorial title.

Your Registration Information
The Midwinter mobile app and website will reflect your registration-provided information. This includes your name, title and company as it appears in your confirmation letter. Please proof this information carefully for accuracy. If a change is needed, notify Debbie Stewart at dstewart@fmi.org
Refunds
Please be advised that your Midwinter registration fee is non-refundable after December 20, 2024. If you need to cancel your registration, please notify the registrar in writing by email to register@fmi.org by December 20, 2024. A full refund, less a $75 processing fee (plus a 3% surcharge if paid by credit card), is granted when a cancellation is received prior to December 20, 2024. Because of the firm commitments of conference arrangements, FMI cannot refund registration fees for any registrations or cancellations received after December 20, 2024. Substitutions can be made any time prior to the start of the conference.
Unauthorized Hotel Solicitation
Hotel reservations should only be made by using the official hotel link provided in your email confirmation. FMI does not use a third-party company to make hotel reservations or sell rooms on its behalf for this event. If a third-party contacts, you offering housing options, they are not endorsed by or affiliated with FMI or the Midwinter Executive Conference and entering into financial agreements with such companies may have costly consequences and leave you without a reservation.
Photography Release
FMI may hire professional service providers or use official staff/volunteers to document (photo/video/streaming/audio) and display the event experience. By registering for and attending the event, you acknowledge and agree as follows: (a) FMI may edit and use photographs or footage it captures at the event for marketing and promotional activities and for any other lawful purpose in the ordinary course of its business; and (b) due to the prevalence of mobile recording devices in today’s world, FMI disclaims all liability for the capture of your image in any multimedia format by other attendees at the event.
