Press Credentials

FMI invites accredited media to register for a complimentary press pass to attend FMI events.

Press passes are granted only to credentialed journalists who intend to cover the event. To qualify for press credentials, you must meet one of the following criteria:

  • Be affiliated with an international, national, or regional newspaper, journal, or magazine and hold an editorial title.
  • Be an independent journalist or freelancer with a demonstrated record of publishing in recognized news or trade outlets.
    - Supporting materials or links to recent work may be requested.
    - Blogs, podcasts, or websites must contain original, dated, industry-related news content and must be updated at least weekly.
    - All blogs, podcasts, or websites must have been in operation for at least six (6) months and receive at least 20,000 unique site visitors per month.

Personnel in sales, advertising, marketing, public relations, account management, or other non-editorial professions will not be granted a press pass.

FMI reserves the right to refuse or revoke media credentials at its discretion, including in cases where applicants do not meet the eligibility requirements or misuse press access for purposes unrelated to journalistic coverage.

Video Policy

Video and or audio recording of any kind is prohibited onsite without permission from FMI’s media department (Heather Garlich, media@fmi.org). FMI reserves the right to request documentation regarding credentials.
