The 2026 Asset Protection & Grocery Resilience Conference (APGR) is shaping up to be our most forward-looking event yet. This year, we’re introducing a new conference element designed to spotlight practical innovation: the APGR Pitch Competition. Solution providers will present technologies that tackle today’s most urgent asset protection and resilience challenges in food retail to compete for the top spot.
The competition has been underway for months. Companies submitted solutions in February for the chance to pitch a panel of industry experts. Last week, semifinalists delivered live pitches and participated in a Q&A with the judges. After a highly competitive round, three finalists have been selected to take the stage at APGR in Austin this May. Each brings a distinct approach to strengthening security, reducing loss, and improving operational resilience across grocery.
Here are the companies that will pitch live on the APGR stage:
Alpha Vision: An AI-powered platform that complements traditional security camera systems to identify possible threats or hazards in real time.
Checkpoint Systems: Through cutting-edge RFID solutions, Checkpoint Systems helps manage inventory and product quality tracking, bringing solutions to long-term supply chain pain points.
Reveal Media: Enhanced transparency and employee safety are provided through Reveal Media’s wearable cameras, designed to help keep people and products safe in stores.
The APGR Pitch Competition is a glimpse into what’s next in asset protection. From theft and violence to operational disruption and workforce safety, these finalists reflect the real-world challenges grocers are working to solve every day.
At the 2026 conference, attendees will see these three companies pitch live and hear directly how their solutions can be deployed across stores, distribution centers and enterprise operations. It’s a rare chance to evaluate emerging technologies side-by-side, ask questions and bring actionable ideas back to your team.
If you’re focused on what’s next for asset protection, risk mitigation and grocery resilience, FMI’s Asset Protection & Grocery Resilience conference is the place to be. Join us in Austin, Texas this May to see which innovators rise to the top and register now to secure your seat for the Pitch Competition and the full conference program.
