Description:

Food price inflation peaked in the middle of 2023 and has been steadily declining for the past few months, but consumers are continuing to adapt to changes in the marketplace. FMI's recent Grocery Shopper Snapshot found that while inflation topped the list of grocery shopper concerns, the majority of Americans nevertheless felt financially in control of their grocery bills. FMI Vice President of Tax, Trade, Sustainability & Policy Development Andrew Harig will be joined by economist and Agribusiness Professor Ricky Volpe to discuss where food prices are headed in 2024, challenges the supply chain could face, and updated research on how consumers are responding to changes in the marketplace.
