Facts Up Front

The Facts Up Front (formerly called Nutrition Keys) labeling program has been developed by the Grocery Manufacturers Association (GMA) and the Food Marketing Institute (FMI) as a voluntary industry initiative to communicate key nutrition information to consumers on the front of food packages. The system has been designed to be consistent with all U.S. labeling regulations.

The resources below are for FMI member companies to implement the Facts Up Front labeling program, primarily intended to be educational in purpose, to allow consumers to observe, understand, and be able to use key nutrient information to make informed food choices for themselves and their families.

Note: The design files are ai. files that can only be viewed with a graphic design software. If you do not have this software, you can view the PDF images below. Also, please read the Facts Up Front Style Guidelines for proper usage of the labeling program.
