Please be advised that your Midwinter registration fee is non-refundable after December 20, 2019. Refund of the registration fee, minus a $75 processing fee, will be made for any cancellation if received in writing to register@fmi.org by December 20, 2019. Because of the firm commitments of conference arrangements, FMI cannot refund the registration fee for any registrations or cancellations received after December 20, 2019.


If you registered and paid for the Midwinter Suite Deal during the registration process, no additional action is required on your part. FMI staff will contact you by November 29, 2019 to confirm your suite reservation details.


Only registered and paid conference attendees are eligible for a reservation at the Official Event Hotel in the FMI room block. Reservations will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis, including requests for specific room types. We expect the event hotel to sell-out prior to the deadline and encourage you to make a reservation as soon as possible.

FMI will review the event room block and remove those individuals who are not registered for the event. One (1) hotel reservation per paid, registered delegate will be accommodated. The hotel reservation should be made under the corresponding registered delegateís name to avoid confusion.

No-show Policy: Failing to call the hotel or arrive on the first night of a reservation will result in a no-show fee equal to one full nightís room and tax charged to the guest, and cancellation of the remainder of the reservation. Requests for a reservation after a guest fails to arrive on the scheduled arrival date will be treated as a new reservation and will be accommodated based on hotel availability and prevailing room rates.

Early Departure Policy: Upon checking into the hotel, guests will be asked to reconfirm their departure date. After checking in, should the guest choose to depart earlier than the agreed upon departure date, an early checkout fee equal to one full nightís room and tax will be charged to the guest.

Hotel Cancellation Policy: Standard guest room reservations must be cancelled directly with the hotel at least seven (7) days prior to the scheduled arrival date, or a cancellation fee equal to one full nightís room and tax will be charged to the guest.

Any attendee who cancels their conference registration automatically voids eligibility for a reservation at the Official Event Hotel. Once a conference registration has been cancelled, FMI will immediately cancel the individualís hotel reservation so the room will become available for another registered attendee. This rule applies to all registration types.
