Chomp (formerly Impact Bioenergy), operating since 2013, manufactures and sells systems that convert food waste into on-site renewable energy (electricity, or renewable natural gas for heating or CNG vehicle fuel) and biofertilizer through anaerobic digestion, enabling customers to meet their sustainability / ESG / GHG scope goals and comply with food waste regulations while saving tipping and hauling fees, lowering energy costs, and reducing greenhouse gas emissions. Our units are modular and fully contained, safe and odor-free. All processing happens within the vessel, decentralized and co-located at the food waste-producing source. Typical processing capacity is between 25 to 5,000 tons of food waste per year, purpose-built for food producing/ processing businesses or progressive municipalities.
