ARLINGTON, VA — May 4, 2010 —Assistant White House Chef Sam Kass will present The Supermarket: A Strategic Player in Health and Wellness as the closing keynote speaker on May 13, 2010 at FMI’s co-located events — FMI 2010 and the Supermarket Health & Wellness Conference — in Las Vegas, NV at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center.

“Sam Kass’ knowledge about nutrition and childhood obesity issues will provide valuable insight,” said Food Marketing Institute President and Chief Executive Officer Leslie G. Kass serves as White House Assistant Chef and Food Initiative Coordinator, working closely with First Lady Michelle Obama on her Let’s Move campaign to end childhood obesity.
