The conference will be held May 1-4 at the McCormick Place Convention Center in Chicago, in conjunction with the 2004 FMI Show, May 2-4, also at McCormick Place.
“The FMI Show is pleased to welcome this important category of attendees of the Annual Supermarket Pharmacy Conference,” said Brian Tully, FMI senior vice president of conventions. “By co-locating this conference with the FMI Show, pharmacy professionals will have the opportunity to explore food/pharmacy synergies with other company executives attending the show, and to meet with the pharmaceutical and grocery suppliers who represent valuable partnership possibilities.”
The conference is scheduled to kick off on Saturday, May 1 with an educators’ luncheon, opening general session, business appointments and an evening reception. On Sunday, May 2, conference attendees will be invited to attend the FMI Show — including the exhibit floor, the annual Speaks presentation and additional education sessions — free of charge. The final two days of the conference will be dedicated to traditional programming, including idea exchanges, general sessions and workshops, and additional business appointments with pharmacy suppliers.
FMI will provide complete program details later this year.
