Welcome Workforce Culture Council Members
We believe we are smarter together than we are alone and we know this issue to too large and complex to be tackled in isolation. Furthermore, we believe multicultural and intersectionality concerns are a non-competitive issue for our industry, so this group can facilitate sharing of best practices and resources.
Here are a few expectations regarding the anticipated framework of this group:
- We will have specific topic areas to discuss and programs or resources to review each meeting, to increase the possibility of take-aways that make it a worthwhile time investment.
- We will plan to meet every other month for the immediate future but will revisit that after a few meetings to see if we need to increase or decrease meeting frequency.
- Experience shows that trust levels increase, and the quality of the sharing improves when there is consistency among the participants, so we’d prefer reliability in attendance. That said, we understand the realities of schedule demands. We also realize that there may be times when the given topic area being addressed might mean you want additional colleagues to attend or participate in your stead.
- Notes will be taken at each gathering and made available to all members – so even if you miss a meeting – you will still have some access to the resources shared.

All other meetings will be held on the second Wednesday of every other month from 2:00 to 3:00 pm EST.
