GroceryLab was designed to build a community of leaders committed to support transformation across the food industry and to include connections and conversations that extend beyond our two days together in Detroit. We now invite you to join us Beyond the Lab for a series of 4 virtual experiences open exclusively to 2026 GroceryLab participants.

This series continues that work and is designed to keep the connections, conversations and momentum going throughout the year.

Get an exclusive, pre-public look at new Coca-Cola Retailing Research Council research exploring how AI is changing the grocery shopper, before the findings are broadly released.

Drawing on research with over 3,000 consumers, the work starts with a simple question: What do shoppers actually want AI to help them accomplish? The findings point to three outcomes: save money, save time, and live happy. They also challenge some of the assumptions shaping today’s AI conversation. Shoppers may not necessarily be asking for more AI, but they are asking for better outcomes in their shopper experiences.

Parag Shah and Sri Rajagopalan of Think Blue will share an early readout of the findings and explore the tensions they raise around value, convenience, personalization, trust, loyalty, and the role of human judgment in the shopper experience.

This research becomes the starting point for a GroceryLab-style conversation. Cohorts will work together to translate Shopper Truth → Industry Implication → Action and consider what retailers, brands, and the broader industry should start, stop, or change as AI becomes part of the shopping journey.
