FSMA Final Rule: Mitigation Strategies to Protect Food Against Intentional Adulteration (published May 27, 2016)

FDA Related Resources: 

Key requirements: Implements provisions of the Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act as they apply to intentional adulteration. Applies to domestic and foreign facilities required to register under section 415 of the Bioterrorism Act; covered facilities are required to prepare and implement a food defense plan. Distribution centers and facilities only engaged in holding food, except the holding of food in liquid storage tanks are not subject to the Food Defense Rule.
