Cancellation Policy

Refund of the registration fee, minus a $75.00 processing fee, will be made for any cancellation received in writing to register@fmi.org by October 17, 2012. If notice is received by October 24, 2012, a 60% refund will be given. Any cancellations received after October 24, 2012, will not be refunded. Please note, registrations can be transferred to another company employee at any point prior to the conference.

Conference rates include 1 reception, 1 breakfast and 1 lunch. Rates do not include hotel accommodations or travel expenses.

FMI has negotiated a very competitive hotel room rate of $155.00 / night (single or double occupancy) plus tax (currently 17%). There is no charge for children 18 years and under who share a room with their parents unless additional bedding is required. There will be a $25.00 incremental rate increase for triple and quad occupancy.

The rate includes complimentary high speed internet access for all guest rooms in the group block (must reserve within the block to receive free internet!) and complimentary use of The Gym at Carew Tower.

A discounted self-parking rate of $12.00 per day (NO in and out privileges) is available at the Tower Place Garage adjacent to the hotel.

Reservations

All reservations must be made using the online reservation system or by calling the Hilton Hotels Reservation Center 1-800-HILTONS. Please mention that you are booking within the Food Marketing Institute room block in order to get the reduced rate. PLEASE NOTE: Rates cannot be changed at check-in or checkout for guests who fail to identify their affiliation with FMI at the time the reservation is requested.

Reservations  must be accompanied by a first night room deposit or guaranteed with a major credit card and must be made prior to October 15, 2012 in order to receive the FMI rate. Any reservation requests received after the cut-off date will be accepted on a rate-available basis.

PLEASE NOTE: The hotel room block is likely to sell out, so we advise you to make your reservations EARLY. In the event that the hotel is sold out, FMI will endeavor to secure an additional room block in an adjacent hotel.

Travel

Cincinnati/Kentucky International Airport (CVG) is 12 miles from the hotel (approximately 15 minutes drive time). The approximately one-way taxi fare is $30.00. Shuttle fare is $20.00 one way. Parking is available in the adjacent Tower Place Garage for a reduced daily rate of $12.00 (NO in and out privileges). Valet parking is available for $24.00 / day with in and out privileges.

Directions from CVG airport:

Take I-275 East to I-75 North. Take the Fifth Street Exit. The hotel is three blocks on Fifth Street and Race.
