FoodPAC: Get In The Game
FoodPAC is FMI's Political Action Committee. Established in 1977, FoodPAC provides financial assistance to both Republican and Democratic candidates for Congress who understand and support issues that affect the supermarket industry. FoodPAC is supported entirely by the voluntary, personal contributions of supermarket owners and executives of FMI member companies that recognize the importance of our industry's voice on Capitol Hill.
In order to contribute to FoodPAC, member companies are required to fill out and sign the Prior Authorization form before we can accept any contributions. A link for this document is provided below, in addition a pledge form is also available.
FMI FoodPACE: Our Industry's Voice in the Public Policy Process
FoodPACE is FMI's Political Action Committee for Education. FoodPACE was created in 1998 to expand our industry's reach in the public policy process by financing grassroots initiatives, voter registration and get-out-the-vote campaigns as well as public policy research and education. Since FoodPACE does not support candidates running for federal office, FMI is permitted to accept corporate contributions of any amount.
