The Food Marketing Institute (FMI) is starting its 2008 convention a day earlier to add a keynote education session from 4-5 p.m. on Sunday, May 4, at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center. This addition is to benefit the many attendees who arrive during the weekend at the Las Vegas, NV, site of the FMI Show plus MARKETECHNICS®.

FMI is also planning to hold several workshops before the event from 2-4 p.m. on May 4. The topics and speakers for all these sessions have not yet been set.

The convention is co-located with the FMI Supermarket Pharmacy Conference and with the United Fresh Marketplace, the annual expo of the United Fresh Produce Association. For more information, visit www.fmishow.com.
