FMI Management Training Video Wins Communicator Award

WASHINGTON, DC — March 16, 2006 — The Food Marketing Institute’s (FMI) Managing Your Best training video was recognized in the Communicator Awards program, an international competition honoring excellence in audio, video and print communications.
     

Managing Your Best offers leadership techniques for store managers. The video focuses on developing five key managerial skills: making timely decisions, solving problems, delegating tasks to increase skill sets, encouraging teamwork to accomplish tasks and building trust to create a positive atmosphere.
     

The video earned an award in the visual communication category, which includes video and multi-media productions, broadcast commercials and programs, cable commercials and programs, and television news and promotions. The award is presented to those entries that exhibit excellence in the communication field.
