Its purpose is to provide a convenient gateway to targeted Internet recruiting sites and to present information highlighting the benefits and scope of careers in the food retail, food distribution and food service industries. The site includes profiles of industry careers, diversity information and scholarship opportunities for students.
Association partners of SuperJobMarket.com are Food Distributors International (FDI), joining in August 2000, and Canadian Council of Grocery Distributors (CCGD), joining in May 2001.
SuperJobMarket.com, in an alliance with the CCGD, has developed a Web site in French. Additional resources to be offered may include distance learning, educational programs and scholarships, and a site in Spanish.
SuperJobMarket.com has formed alliances with some of the most frequently used Web-based career search engines. Partners of the site include MonsterTRAK.com, Careerjournal.com, Transition Assistance Online, JobsInLogistics.com, DiversityLink.com, BlueSkySearch.com, Tech-engine.com, RxCareerCenter.com, Actijob.com and CareerOwl.ca. To date, more than 3.5 million job seekers have visited SuperJobMarket.com’s alliance partner sites.
