Contest Rules:
FMI - The Food Industry Association proudly hosts the 2026 Store Manager People’s Pick Award Contest to recognize the outstanding work of grocery store managers. The 12 finalists for our 2026 awards are posted to the FMI website and voting will be open from 8:00 am ET June 29, 2026, to July 10, 2026, at 11:59 pm ET.  
The finalist with the most votes by 11:59 pm ET on July 10, 2026 will receive a special trophy and $500 to help celebrate their store’s employees from FMI. The votes will be tallied by FMI, and the winner will be announced during our Live Virtual Ceremony at 12:30pm ET on July 23, 2026.  Voting is open to the public and participants may only vote once.   Note, this contest is separate from the Category Awards (A, B, C, & D), which are determined by volunteer judges from the industry’s HR, Communications, & Operations professionals. The competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with the 2026 Store Manager Awards survey hosting platform. All applicable federal, state and local laws apply.
