Become A SafeMark Exam Proctor

Complete a few simple steps to become a Certified Prometric proctor. Simply visit www.prometric.com/foodsafety and click on the “Proctor” tab. From there refer to the 3 simple steps on the page that tells you how to become a certified food safety manager proctor. Once completed and you have met all requirements, a Prometric representative will contact you and provide your credentials.

Designed for supervisors and managers, this guide identifies best food safety and sanitation practices within the retail food industry and prepares students for the SafeMark® Food Protection Manager Certification Exam. Based on most recent Food Code. Trainers Kit also available.

SafeMark® Quick Reference: Food Safety for Food Handlers, 4th ed.
Based on recommendations from the 2013 FDA Food Code. An industry rich text designed for the food handler with the focus on key areas of personal hygiene, time and temperature management, preventing cross contamination, cleaning and sanitizing practices, and accident prevention and safety.

Q: What is the ANSI recognized SafeMark® Quick Reference: Food Safety for Food Handlers Course?
A: Available online and by classroom training, The SafeMark® Quick Reference: Food Safety for Food Handlers Course is accredited by American National Standards Institute (ANSI) against the ASTM E2659-09 standard. FMI is an ANSI Accredited Program Certificate Issuer - #1164 for the SafeMark® Quick Reference: Food Safety for Food Handlers Certificate Program. The Food Handler Certificate Program is based on recommendations from the 2013 FDA Food Code.

Q: What does the SafeMark® ANSI Food Handler Training Classroom Course include and what does the course cover?
A: The classroom course includes the SafeMark Quick Reference: Food Safety for Food Handlers Trainers Kit with presentation slides. This course covers topics like preventing cross contamination, cleaning and sanitation practices, accident prevention and safety, and more. Note: If you would like more information about how to become an approved course provider for this ANSI accredited course, contact FMI Food Safety at safemark@fmi.org. SafeMark® Quick Reference: Food Safety for Food Handler Program Assessments and Certificates must be purchased separately by an approved course provider. Contact FMI at safemark@fmi.org for details.

A: The online course classroom course includes access to the online version of the course.
