The Future Leaders eXperience curriculum, developed in partnership with Root, is based on their interactive Compass leadership program. Completing the Future leaders eXperience – a six-session online course over a period of four months – enables participants to earn the Food Retail Leader Certificate.
Future Leaders will attend six live, virtual group sessions held on these dates and times:
- Thursday, April 18, 2024
- Thursday, May 2, 2024
- Thursday, May 16, 2024
- Thursday, May 30, 2024
- Thursday, June 13, 2024
- Thursday, June 27, 2024
AM or PM session options for each date (sessions are two hours each):
- 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. ET OR 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. ET
Prior to the start of the course, Future Leaders will be grouped with a team of 10-15 other individuals from other companies and in other roles. Each team will work together to complete activities as well as share their leadership journey throughout the program.
In addition to the live, full-group sessions, Future Leaders will be required to complete pre-session and post-session activities including viewing videos, completing workbook pages, creating discussion posts, submitting assignments and responding to surveys. These activities can be completed from a home or work computer by accessing FMI's learning management system at times that are convenient for the participant.
