For the first time at the Midwinter Executive Conference 2026, the FMI Foundation welcomed a multitude of students to the conference, four of whom were funded under the FMI Foundation's scholarship program. A first-ever program for this audience, the program brought 4 undergraduate and graduate students from food-related programs to attend FMI's signature event.

Students experienced the wide variety of programming and educational events Midwinter has to offer: lunch & learns, workshops, networking events, and reflection opportunities. Sponsoring companies even allowed students to attend B2B meetings: the Strategic Executive Exchange (SEEs) program, FMItech, and others.
