
ANNOUNCEMENT: The Phoenician Hotel is sold out. There are a small number of hotel rooms still available for FMI BOARD MEMBERS ONLY. All other attendees will need to arrange hotel accommodations at one of the overflow properties listed on the Midwinter website at www.fmi.org/mw2014.
A special block of rooms for FMI Board Members is being held at The Phoenician until December 2nd. Hotel reservations should be made directly with The Phoenician by calling: 800-888-8234 and providing reference code [FMI BOARD] to access the special FMI Board Member room block.
The standard room rate is $295 per night. Room types include One King bed or Two Double beds, subject to hotel availability.
A limited number of hotel suites are available through the reservations department. FMI staff is managing a waitlist for additional suites. Please contact Ben Quigley at 202-220-0716 or BQuigley@fmi.org for additional details regarding suite availability.
The deadline to make hotel reservations is December 2, 2013, 5:00 p.m. local time.
FMI cannot guarantee hotel availability after December 12, 2013.
Accommodations are available on a first come, first serve basis.
Each additional guest, above double occupancy in a guestroom, will be subject to a $50.00 per day charge. No charge for children under 17 accompanied by an adult.
A one-time Porterage gratuity charge of $14.00 total, per person check-in and check-out will be charged to each guest folio. A Housekeeping service fee of $5.00 per room plus tax, per night will be added to each guest folio. Please note you do not have to offer hotel staff an additional gratuity directly since Porterage and Housekeeping gratuities will be automatically added to each guest room folio.
The hotel must receive notice of hotel cancellations or changes no later than 7 days prior to your arrival in order to receive a refund of your room deposit. The hotel must receive notice of guest changes at least 24 hours prior to arrival. All hotel changes, substitutions, and/or cancellations must be made directly with the hotel.
*Please Note: One (1) night room & tax deposit is required to secure a hotel reservation. Hotel rates do not include sales tax (currently 13.92%). The hotel requires a credit card to guarantee reservations, as well as an arrival and departure date. Your credit card will be charged for your room deposit immediately upon completion of your reservation. Hotel reservations are accepted on a first-come, first served basis, including requests for specific room types. All hotel changes, substitutions, and/or cancellations must be made directly with the hotel. Please note that in order to have a reservation in the group room block, you must register for the FMI Board of Directors Meeting or the FMI Midwinter Executive Conference. FMI reserves the right to review the conference room block and remove those individuals who have not registered for the conference. One (1) hotel reservation per registered delegate will be accommodated. The hotel reservation should be made under the corresponding registered delegate’s name to avoid confusion. The hotel will add an early departure fee of one night room and tax to any guest who checks out of the hotel prior to the guest's reserved check-out date. Guests wishing to avoid an early departure fee should advise the hotel prior to or at check-in of any change in planned length of stay.
