The COVID-19 pandemic has affected grocery prices more than nearly any other category of consumer spending.

Grocery prices were up 5.6% June 2019 to June 2020, which is several times the average rate of food price inflation Americans have come to expect in recent decades.

Webinar Objectives:

Participants should attend this webinar in order to:

  • Learn about the food supply system and the factors that impact food prices.
  • Hear about the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on food prices.
  • Discover resources to discuss food prices with shoppers, consumers, members of the media and stakeholder groups.
