The COVID-19 pandemic has affected grocery prices more than nearly any other category of consumer spending.
Grocery prices were up 5.6% June 2019 to June 2020, which is several times the average rate of food price inflation Americans have come to expect in recent decades.
Participants should attend this webinar in order to:
- Learn about the food supply system and the factors that impact food prices.
- Hear about the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on food prices.
- Discover resources to discuss food prices with shoppers, consumers, members of the media and stakeholder groups.
