According to a national survey conducted by Fabrizio, Lee & Associates, most American voters (70%) favor the SNAP program and 59% oppose reducing SNAP benefits. Nearly two-thirds of American voters (65%) agree SNAP is a hunger program, not a nutrition program, and 57% support a national standard of what can and cannot be bought using SNAP benefits.
