2017 FMI State Issues Retreat

The FMI State Issues Retreat is an annual event that brings together food retail grocery associations and grocery company professionals from each state to discuss state legislative issues of interest to the food industry. This year's State Issues Retreat will take place at the Lansdowne Resort & Spa in Leesburg, Virginia, July 31 to August 2.

As more and more policymaking occurs at the state and local level, this meeting provides an important opportunity to learn the lessons of 2017 and strategize for 2018. While the agenda is still being developed, topics will include Emerging Issues, Wage & Labor, SNAP/WIC, Pharmacy, Food and Beverage Taxes, and much more. We will also feature training on how to access and use FMI’s soon-to-be-released Grocery Industry Economic Impact Study, which will include information on how to find data specific to your state by Congressional district or by state legislative district. Key officials from the White House and critical supervisory agencies have been invited to speak.

Please make your reservation directly with the hotel by July 3, using this link.
