Please join FMI for a webinar on Monday, August 2nd at 2 p.m. ET to discuss the Special Financial Assistance (SFA) for troubled multiemployer pension plans guidance from the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC). Brigen Winters and Josh Shapiro from Groom Law Group will discuss the requirements for receiving financial assistance, the structure the aid will take, and the long-term implications for the multiemployer pension system. PBGC is seeking comments on the SFA proposal and this session will offer members the opportunity to shape FMI’s response and share issues specific to the food industry. There will be ample opportunity in this webinar to ask questions and seek feedback from the speakers.
