HOTEL CANCELLATION

The Ritz-Carlton, South Beach must receive notice of hotel cancellations or changes no later than 72 hours prior to your arrival in order to receive a refund of your room deposit. Any reservation that is not cancelled within 72 hours of arrival or is a “no show” will be assessed a fee equal to one (1) night’s room and tax. All hotel changes, substitutions, and/or cancellations must be made directly with the hotel. No show reservations are not automatically reinstated and are based on rate and space availability at the time of request.

*Registration fee includes all meeting materials, breakfasts, breaks, lunches and receptions. Fee does not include your hotel accommodations or dinners. (Spouses/Non-Industry Guests are welcome to attend evening social events.) To qualify for FMI Member rates, every participant must be an employee of an FMI Member company. An FMI Retailer/Wholesaler Member is a retailer or wholesaler paying annual dues to FMI. An FMI Associate Member is a supplier company paying annual associate dues to FMI. All others are Non-Members.

All reservations must be accompanied by a first night room deposit or guaranteed with a major credit card, as well as an arrival and departure date. Your credit card will be charged for your room deposit immediately upon completion of your reservation. Hotel reservations are accepted on a first-come, first served basis, including requests for specific room types. All hotel changes, substitutions, and/or cancellations must be made directly with the hotel. Please note that in order to have a reservation in the group room block, you must register for the FMI Legal Conference. FMI reserves the right to review the conference room block and remove those individuals who have not registered for the conference. One (1) hotel reservation per registered delegate will be accommodated. The hotel reservation should be made under the corresponding registered delegate’s name to avoid confusion. The hotel will add an early departure fee to any guest who checks out of the hotel prior to the guest's reserved check-out date. Guests wishing to avoid an early departure fee should advise the hotel prior to or at check-in of any change in planned length of stay.

TRAVEL INFORMATION

The Ritz-Carlton, South Beach is located approximately 20 minutes from the Miami International Airport (MIA).

Ground Transportation:

Taxicabs and SuperShuttle (305-871-2000) vans are available on the arrival (ground) level of the airport, outside of the baggage claim areas, at a cost of approximately $32.00 (flat rate) for taxicabs and $19 per passenger for shuttles. Hotel Parking:

Valet parking is available on property for a daily fee of $24 and an overnight fee of $36. There is a reduced parking fee of $15 for non-hotel guests who visit the spa or dine at one of the three restaurants at the resort. (Self parking is not available)
