Who Should Attend:

Your company's sustainability leadership group should attend, along with senior executives looking to incorporate sustainability into strategic business planning and representatives from the affected functional areas of operations including marketing, communications, and procurement. Key officials from government, NGOs and advocacy groups that are interested in partnerships with the CPG and retailing industries should also attend.

Registration Includes:

Registration includes all meeting materials, continental breakfasts, coffee breaks, lunches and receptions. Fee does not include your hotel accommodations or dinners.

Spouse/Partner/Non-Industry Guest Registration

If your spouse, partner or non-industry guest is planning to attend any of the social events (reception and offsite event), he/she must be registered and wear a conference badge.

**Please note, due to the joint nature of the FMI/GMA Global Sustainability Summit, the registration fees are based on specific company type.  All member companies either consumer packaged goods companies or technology/service providers are subject to specific rates regardless of GMA or FMI membership affiliation.  Please contact the Registrar at 202.220.0844 if you have any questions regarding membership or company type.

Cancellation and Other Policies:

If you are unable to attend the conference, FMI/GMA encourages substitutions. Please notify the Registrar in writing, by email to register@fmi.org. A full refund, minus a $75 processing fee per registration, is granted when a cancellation is received by July 25, 2014. A 60% refund is granted if the cancellation is received by August 1, 2014. FMI/GMA reserves the right to qualify registration rates and invoice for remaining balances due or issue refunds.

One (1) night room & tax deposit is required to secure a hotel reservation. Hotel rates do not include hotel occupancy tax (currently 14.45%) and $3.00 per room, per night in additional hotel & service fees. The hotel requires a credit card to guarantee reservations, as well as an arrival and departure date. Your credit card will be charged for your room deposit immediately upon completion of your reservation. All hotel changes, substitutions, and/or cancelations must be made directly with the hotel. Please note that in order to have a reservation in the group room block, you must register for the FMI/GMA Sustainability Summit. FMI/GMA reserves the right to review the conference room block and remove those individuals who have not registered for the conference. One (1) hotel reservation per registered delegate will be accommodated. The hotel reservation should be made under the corresponding registered delegate’s name to avoid confusion. The hotel will add an early departure fee of $100 plus tax to any guest who checks out of the hotel prior to the guest's reserved check-out date. Guests wishing to avoid an early departure fee should advise the hotel prior to or at check-in of any change in planned length of stay.

Hotel Cancellation & Changes

The hotel must receive notice of hotel cancellations or changes no later than 24 hours prior to your arrival in order to receive a refund of your room deposit. All hotel changes, substitutions, and/or cancellations must be made directly with the hotel.


 


TRANSPORTATION

The Seaport Boston Hotel is conveniently located 3 miles from Logan International Airport (BOS). The following are some options for ground transportation.

Public transportation

The MBTA Silver Line Waterfront (SL1) provides service from the WTC Station (Seaport Hotel) to Logan International Airport terminals every 10 minutes during the weekday and every 15 minutes during the weekend. The Silver Line station is located adjacent to the hotel. Currently, rides on the Silver Line from Logan Airport to the WTC Station (Seaport Hotel) are complimentary. Rides from WTC Station (Seaport Hotel) to Logan are currently $2.50 per person.

Taxi

Seaport Boston Hotel is about 3 miles from Logan Airport, one of several hotels near the Boston Convention Center and a quick ride away from all Boston attractions. Taxis are readily available from the lobby of the hotel and are approximately $30 one-way.

Water Taxi

This scenic way to travel is a great way to avoid traffic. Hop on the water taxi shuttle at your terminal and enjoy the ride. The stop for pick up and drop off is at the Seaport World Trade Center, directly across the street from the Seaport Hotel. Visit their website for information and fares.
