Solution sessions are opportunities for summit attendees to participate in building answers to transportation challenges. This session will focus on dwell time. We will present findings from pilot projects conducted by the TPA, provide time for participants to discuss the findings in small groups and consider how the insights and recommendations can be applied in their settings to reduce and improve dwell time.

We often hear that supply chain challenges can only be met through greater transparency and collaboration between trading partners. But what does that really mean in practice? In this session, we’ll share the results of a two-pronged project focused on both quantifying the impact of transparency and identifying current and potential approaches to transparency, barriers to adoption and technology to support improved transparency. We’ll review the results of three improvement initiatives: retail S&OP, monthly to weekly split and CPFR. We’ll share high level details of the transparency aspects implemented between trading partners and measure their impact.
