The Sustainability Challenge: What You’ll Learn

Program

The demand for attention to sustainability issues in the food retailing industry has never been greater – and the demand intensifies every day. The Sustainability Summit’s education program will offer many formats in which to deliver the important information and insights you need to advance your company’s sustainability efforts.

Ed-U-Ventures and Pre-Summit Session

Sustainability Summit attendees will have the opportunity to embark on a number of Ed-U-Ventures, offsite expeditions to view first hand some of the best examples of sustainability in action at facilities in the Nashville area. The pre-Summit session is a deep-dive exploration of a single topic of great importance to the food retailing and consumer products industry.

Breakouts

Conference sessions in several different tracks will offer real-life solutions to the sustainability challenges that retailers, wholesalers, manufacturers and restaurants must meet. The Summit education program will be the one place this year where industry professionals can gain the cutting-edge insights and innovations they need to embrace the industry’s future.

Topics include:

  • Regulatory Issues and Compliance
  • Climate & Energy
  • Sustainable Sourcing & Supply Chain
  • Engagement & Social Responsibility

Keynote Sessions

World-class thought leaders in the sustainability field will share their insights into where the movement is headed and what the food retailing industry’s role must be. Keynoters will challenge some of the assumptions that now dictate sustainability policy and offer paths to the future that have not yet been considered.
