The program is up to you! You will be able to network with leaders in our industry while tasting their favorite family meals. Stir it Up! Is designed as a dine-around without assigned seats so all attendees can move and mingle as they please. FMI will also announce the winners of this year’s Gold Plate Award and the winners of the different cooking categories (Healthiest, Easiest, Tastiest, Most Affordable, Best Breakfast or Lunch, and Best Culinary Adventure)
Each Kitchen Demo Station will decide on their own menu featuring their favorite family meal and products of the companies participating in that kitchen station.
Resort casual, leave your ties at home! This is a fun casual event involving movement as you dine-around and network.
No. The hotel will be preparing your team’s menu and will deliver it to your Kitchen Demo Stations. Depending on your level of sponsorship, some companies have the option to bring a chef to add to the theater of the evening.
Yes! If you are a sponsor at the Executive Chef or Master Chef level, you can bring your chef to do a cooking demo at your Kitchen Demo Station.
All Stir It Up! attendees will be able to vote on the meals. The categories are: easiest preparation, best family breakfast or lunch, healthiest meal choice, most affordable meal, and culinary adventure.
The meal will be plated in small tasting portions to allow the attendees to dishes from all of the Kitchen Demo Stations.
There will be signage around all of the Kitchen Demo Stations designating where different companies are located.

This is a custom branded area that your company has an option to host (Depending on your level of sponsorship) where people will be able to chat while enjoying the tasting menus. These aren’t permanent seats, as the attendees are encouraged to walk around to try different foods and network.
