State Training Requirements

Note: Ohio has recently implemented a seat time requirement of 15 hours for Manager Food Safety Training (Level Two Certification in Food Protection). Therefore, in order to meet the minimum 15 hour requirement for the state of Ohio, individuals taking the Online Food Manager Course through Alchemy must complete supplemental classroom training. FMI has developed supplemental training materials to assist trainers, instructors, employers, learners, and others as they work toward augmenting online food safety training programs with additional hours of training.
