COVID-19 Safety Plan
We look forward to seeing you in Tampa, Florida and we are pleased to share our updated safety plan for the FMI 2022 Financial Executive & Internal Auditing Conference. As the COVID-19 landscape evolves, we remain dedicated to providing the safest and healthiest environment possible for all participants, and we ask for your partnership in that endeavor. FMI has implemented a layered approach to illness prevention and is recommending multiple control measures. Here’s our Action Plan.
Action Plan
Upon checking in at the registration desk, attendees will be asked to provide either proof of a negative COVID-19 PCR test, administered within 72 hours prior to arrival, or proof of full COVID-19 vaccination to attend the 2022 Financial Executive & Internal Auditing Conference.
Masks will not be required, but many of our attendees may choose to wear them. Please follow CDC guidelines. If you are at high risk for severe illness, please talk to your health care provider about mask-wearing and other precautions; stay up to date with COVID-19 vaccines; and get tested if you have symptoms.
FMI staff will:
- Offer outdoor social events when possible and/or well-ventilated spaces to facilitate social distancing.
We ask that attendees:
- Don’t travel if you feel sick or if you’re experiencing symptoms associated with the flu or COVID-19 variants.
- Consider getting vaccinated and including a flu shot!
- Download the event app prior to arrival for information and any onsite communications
The Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay:
- Is committed to promoting a safe environment for our event.
- Will follow procedures to minimize contact during food and beverage service.
- Increase cleaning and disinfection across high-volume common areas.
