Collaborative Response Graphics (CRGs) are a mapping technique born from the lessons learned by US Special Operators overseas, who faced the challenge of communicating and navigating in unfamiliar locations. CRGs combine a gridded overlay, high resolution imagery, and floor plans together into one map. CRGs include everything that a first responder needs to know to coordinate emergency response both inside and outside a building. This includes room labels, hallway names, external door/stairwell numbers, key utility locations, parking areas, cameras, and other critical features.
