Developing employee satisfaction is the secret ingredient of employee management. It takes a complicated mix of modern leadership, coaching, training and engagement, but the result is an employee that wants to stay at your company and thrive.

A happy employee is satisfied by their company in three key ways:  

1. A healthy work environment.

This work environment includes regular recognition, and a feeling of being valued and respected.

2. Continued education and training development.

Encourage employees to continue learning, motivate them to strive for more challenges, and support growth within.

3. Fair and/or competitive compensation.

An employee could be satisfied with all three of these traits or just one of them, but if none are present then the secret ingredient to employee management will be missing.
