The Annual FMI/GMA Sustainability Summit, October 3-5 in Washington, DC. will bring together 500 of the leading thinkers and decision makers from the food and CPG industry together to address the most important issues and decisions confronting us from waste to packaging, sourcing, greening supply chains to emerging consumer and sustainability trends.

FMI is working with key industry stakeholders to promote and develop education, tools and resources to increase recycling rates through collaboration and industry/consumer education.

FMI shares Co-Leadership with GMA on Industry Efforts to Reduce Food Waste -- A proactive approach to reduce food waste, move food waste out of landfills, feed more hungry people and provide an ROI to the industry by saving money, increasing efficiencies and proactively addressing food waste in innovative and constructive ways.

Through our work with many stakeholders within and outside our industry, FMI's Sustainability Executive Committee will continue providing an "over the horizon" view of emerging issues and challenges to senior leadership with recommendations and expertise needed to respond in strategic and proactive ways.
