  • branch store

    A subsidiary retailing business owned and operated at a separate location by an established store. Brand Awareness – A term to express a brand’s strength or weakness with the consumer.

  • bulletin

    A general term identifying information sent in printed form from one segment of the trade to another, from the manufacturer or broker to salespersons, from chain store headquarters or wholesaler to retail units.

  • new to brand

    Share of converters with no brand purchase within the category cycle window.

  • mass merchant

    A large-format store carrying a wide variety of popular product categories, typically at discount prices. The most common examples are Walmart and Target.

    Space utilization software that plans and analyzes product categories, determines shelf allocation, and graphs planograms.
