The Energy and Store Development Conference has received reports that a hotel broker has contacted ESD Conference attendees to solicit the purchase of hotel rooms for the ESD Conference. Please be aware that this company is NOT affiliated with or endorsed by Food Marketing Institute. Booking through unauthorized service providers has resulted in unconfirmed bookings, lost payments and increased room rates and the hotel may have no obligation to provide you with the accommodations you were expecting.

RATE AND CUT-OFF DATE

The cutoff date for securing a room at the negotiated rate of $189 single/double per night, plus tax, is 5:00 pm Central Time on Thursday, August 18, 2016. We encourage you to make your reservations early, as the hotel may sell out before this date. Reservations made after the cut-off date will be accepted on a space-available basis and higher rates may apply. Be sure to mention the FMI Energy and Store Development Conference 2016 to obtain the negotiated rate.

Airport
Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY) is approximately 15 miles from the Sheraton New Orleans Hotel.

Transportation from New Orleans Airport

Hotel Shuttle:
You may reserve a shared ride service between the Sheraton New Orleans Hotel and Louis Armstrong International Airport through New Orleans Airport Shuttle. Rates are $24pp one way / $44pp roundtrip. Taxi:
Taxis are available outside of baggage claim and the average cost is $36 for 1 or 2 riders, $15 per person for 3 or more riders.

Streetcar Transportation:
The Sheraton New Orleans Hotel is also located right on the Streetcar line, which provides easy transit along Canal Street, St. Charles Avenue, and the Riverfront. One-way cost: $1.25. One, 3 and 5-day unlimited ride passes are also available for $5, $12 and $20 respectively.

Sheraton New Orleans Hotel Parking

Valet parking service is available; the hotel does not offer self-parking. Vehicles are secured in a covered garage adjacent to the hotel. Due to limited space and height restrictions, parking is available on a first-come-first-served basis and cannot accommodate oversized vehicles.

The overnight guest rate is $40 + tax.
