TRACK CHOICES

Which Track Is Best For You?

Future Connect attendees have a few simple choices to make to determine which room offers the programming best suited to your needs. All rooms will feature the general session program, mixed crowds of retailers, wholesalers and suppliers, and ample opportunity for discussion and networking, but there are some key differences. Use the descriptions below to select the best location:

Front Line/Operations: Reunion Room (Open all three days)
This track is suitable for all attendees, but best for those looking for more tactical lessons in management and operations. This track is especially good for attendees who supervise smaller teams or who work closely with store-level issues. Seating is randomly assigned in this room to provide multiple opportunities for networking.

Executive Development: Landmark Room (Monday Afternoon only)
This track is suitable for all attendees, but best for those looking for tactical lessons with some strategic perspective of broad industry concerns. The track is especially good for attendees who supervise other managers, who work heavily with trading partners on broad supply chain issues, and those in headquarters level management. Seating is randomly assigned in this room to provide multiple opportunities for networking.

Senior Management: Cumberland Room (Monday Afternoon only)
This track is designed for top level executives planning only a short stay at Future Connect. The program will offer a quick summary of new research and key industry issues with a very strategic outlook.

NEW! Center Store Spotlight: Cumberland Room (Tuesday Morning only)
Issues impacting center store categories and products will be highlighted in this special track aimed at improved understanding of buyer and seller issues in this vital part of the store. Attendees in this part of the program will rejoin the main tracks for the last half of the People Connect agenda.

Attendees are welcome to switch between the Front Line and Executive Development rooms. However, since many speakers will address both groups at different times, we suggest you only change when the program switches between the Performance, People and Profit Connect sections.
