- National Relief Organizations
Listed below is contact information for the national relief organizations that can guide contributions in the event of a crisis.
Feeding America (formerly America's Second Harvest): For product donations during disasters or daily operations, contact Feeding America at 800-771-2303 ext. 6513 for Randy Starck or 6514 for Ron Taritas or 6508 for Diane Letson. For cash contributions, contact Vicki Chavez at vchavez@feedingamerica.org. Feeding America is active in disaster-relief efforts and coordinates those efforts with their local food bank network, FEMA, Salvation Army, the American Red Cross, and other disaster-relief providers.
American Red Cross: For in-kind donations visit www.redcross.org. The local chapters will make the decision on coordination of relief efforts.
