  • Job Description:

    Supports the Membership function through administration, coordination and project work.
  • Essential Job Functions:

    - Coordinates domestic, Canadian, international and associate member renewal processes including generating renewal notices, tracking, invoicing and assembling customized renewal requests.


    - Generates prospect, new member and renewal letters and packets. Additionally, responds to and tracks general correspondence via telephone and email with members and prospective members regarding FMI events, membership and other related inquiries.


    - Assists in scheduling member and prospect meetings, gathers and distributes FMI support materials for meetings and assists with follow up.


    - Maintains accurate contact and company information for members and prospects in the membership database.


    - Updates member and prospect records from multiple sources. · Coordinates FMI share group activities, communication and invoicing. · Updates international association information in database and supports outreach activities.

  • Other Job Functions:

    - Other duties and projects as assigned or directed.
  • Physical Requirements:

    • Normal office environment requiring use of typical business equipment (e.g., computer, telephone, fax, copier, security system). Ability to travel to conventions to perform on-site administrative activities.
  • Education, Skills and Experience:

    - College degree or equivalent work experience.


    - Minimum of 2 years prior professional work experience.


    - Must be able to anticipate departmental needs and act swiftly to handle urgent requests.


    - Proficient computer literacy with strong skills in the use Microsoft Office products.


    - Ability to understand and use database software to process and maintain information.


    - Excellent customer service ethic.


    - Ability to organize, prioritize and accomplish multiple tasks is a must.


    - Strong attention to detail.


    - Previous experience supporting a senior level executive is a plus.


    - Prior meeting planning experience is a plus.


    - Excellent oral communication, writing and editing skills.


    - Strong interpersonal communication skills including via telephone.


    - Good team member.
