In food retail everyone has their specialty. There are those who focus on marketing and merchandising and those who hone in on food safety. Some are technology experts; while others are private brands practitioners. But there are some topics that are so broad they reach across all departments.

For example, everyone feels the impact of the growth of fresh foods in the store in one way or another. No one is immune from the effects of potential cyber security breaches. All of us benefit when innovations in loyalty programs keep our customers coming back for more.
