Thinking Differently

Behind every Food Marketing Institute (FMI) conference you’ll find a group of dedicated food retail professionals building the programs that will best meet today’s industry needs. Our conference planning committees spend countless hours advising FMI education planners on the most important topics and top experts in their fields and they often shape the best features of our events. The 2016 Asset Protection Conference at the Westin La Paloma Resort & Spa in Tucson, AZ March 14 – 17, 2016 is no exception. We have:

40 people, comprising

2 committees, Asset Protection and Risk and Safety that have spent the last

9 months planning an event that will be personally and professionally enriching and address the leadership development, operational shrink, and crisis management needs of the industry through

9 general sessions,

20 breakouts,

6 professional development workshops, and

15 networking events.

Scott Ziter, Price Chopper Supermarkets, Michael Limauro, Weis Markets, Libby Christman, Ahold USA, and Rob Peter, Publix Super Markets are the chairs and vice chairs of the FMI Asset Protection and Risk and Safety committees. They have been guiding the committees to build a program that will help attendees think differently about themselves and their roles as loss prevention and risk and safety professionals. They are looking forward to serving as hosts and hostess of the only asset protection event designed for those working specifically in the food industry that allows participants to learn directly from colleagues.
