SupplyChainRegulationsIn 2016, a number of regulations went into effect that will affect the food retail industry, including the beginning of the implementation of the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA). The compliance date for one of the major FSMA rules passed in September and the industry is continuing to move forward with additional food safety efforts as compliance begins for many of the other key FSMA rules later this year.
