Summary of Code Requirements: 1. Enroll in an approved Food Safety Certification Course and successfully pass an approved food safety examination.
2. Submit a completed application along with a $50.00 fee to the Office of Food Protection.
3. Renew your certification every third year by taking a six hour recertification class or retaking the exam. Submit proof of class hours or exam score along with the $50.00 fee to the Office of Food Protection.
