Harvest Market owner Tom Honer and his daughter and store manager Jennifer Bosma welcomed FMI's Director of Member Relations Cynthia Brazzel to their two stores, one in Fort Bragg and the other in Mendocino, Calif. Brazzel learned firsthand about the consumers their stores serve in this unique Northern California coastal community. Notably, Harvest Market specialty areas cater to pet owners, unique diets and household goods and hardware, all ways to better serve the needs of their community in an area where there are no mass merchandisers. Honer serves on the FMI board of directors and lends his unique independent operator perspective to the voice of food retail.
